As part of the Guyana Industrial Training Centre’s 60th Anniversary Celebrations, an exciting Inter-Workshop/Classroom Debate Competition was held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and concluded on Friday, June 12, 2026. This event marked the Preliminary Round of the competition and provided trainees with an opportunity to showcase their critical thinking, research, public speaking, and teamwork skills.
The six classes that participated in the preliminary round were:

4. Welding
5. Metal Work Engineering
6. Plumbing

The competition was highly engaging and demonstrated the exceptional talent, confidence, preparation, and communication skills of our trainees. Each team delivered thought-provoking arguments and represented their respective classes with professionalism and pride.
